Waterproofing with FLEXIGUM

Scope | Features | Advantages | Technical specification

FLEXIGUM is two-component, bitumen-latex highly elastomeric waterproofing product.
FLEXIGUM is cold sprayed product. It is applied on the surface with the help of airless spraying machine.

Scope of application

Bitumen-latex membrabe FLEXIGUM is designed for waterproofing of the structural elements of underground and overground constructions in the industrial, civil and transport building and especially:

  • Waterproofing and protection against corrosion of underground and ground building constructions, ferro-concrete and metal reservoirs, pipes
  • Waterproofing of transport constructions, tunnels constructions and stations of underground, constructions of road and railway tunnels, constructions of retaining walls, pedestrian subways
  • Waterproofing and protection from biogenic sulphate aggression of collectors of water disposal net

Features of the waterproofing material FLEXIGUM

FLEXIGUM is applied in mechanized way by means of airless spraying machine. The spraying process is carried out by means of submission of two components: bitumen-latex emulsion and coagulating agent through two circuits, which include flexible high pressure hoses system. The hoses are connected with two-nozzle sprayer, in which cone-like atomizers are installed. Components of a FLEXIGUM transform into cone-like jets at outflow, mix in the air and reaching the surface, form seamless membrane.

Advantages of the waterproofing material FLEXIGUM

  • uneven surface does not affect the homogeneity of the membrane and its adhesive properties
  • no scaffolding and stages are required for application on the surface up to 6 meters
  • excellent adhesion to metal inserts located in concrete
